Madeleine Woodbury
Software Engineer — React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python
About
I'm a Computer Engineering graduate from UiT The Arctic University of Norway with over two years of professional software development experience. My studies focused on IoT and eHealth technologies, complemented by coursework in machine learning, computer vision, computer graphics, and embedded systems.
I enjoy building interactive and reliable software that blends data, visualization, and strong user experience. Through academic and personal projects, I have developed applications such as a React and TypeScript symptom logger system with a Node.js and PostgreSQL backend, a Python FastAPI and OpenCV application for real-time DICOM image processing in the browser, and a Unity/WebGL simulation of satellite and space debris collisions. You can explore more of my work on GitHub.
I work confidently across the stack, with strong skills in React, Node.js, and Python. My focus is on clean, maintainable code, scalable architectures, and well-crafted user experiences.
